Passenger.  Amtrak provides passenger rail service with stations in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Burlington, and High Point. The Carolinian and the Piedmont provide service between Raleigh and Charlotte daily, and the Crescent provides passenger service from New Orleans to New York.
