Workforce development is building an education and training system that ensures businesses can find talented local employees.  Workforce Development Boards (WDB) aim to develop a skilled workforce that is adaptable to changes in the future.  These boards are local private-public partnerships that coordinate federal and state resources designated for workforce development.  The board consists of individuals from private business, government and community groups.
