Cambrex Corporation is expanding its High Point facility with the addition of a new $3.2 million analytical laboratory and will hire 12 analytical chemists to the R&D team. Cambrex produces active pharmaceutical ingredients for clinical trials. The new laboratory will be used to broaden analytical support for customer projects at the High Point site. Earlier this summer, the company announced a $2.4 million expansion to increase the facility’s capacity and hire five employees.
