According to Site Selection magazine, North Carolina ranks as the No. 2 state to do business for the fourth year in a row. North Carolina scored a total of 99 points across all categories in the 2018 Top State Business Climate Rankings. The ranking is based on a survey of corporate site selectors who are asked to rank the states based on their recent experience of locating facilities in them and seven additional criteria measuring state’s competitiveness in attracting new plants.
