With more than 1,800 acres under control, this certified site is located twenty minutes from downtown Greensboro and proximate to numerous automotive, transportation and heavy truck suppliers. The surrounding region boasts a labor force of 1.1 million supplemented by a worker pipeline emerging annually from schools and universities targeting skills for logistics and supply chain needs.

Wake Forest Innovation Quarter
Comprised of nearly 3 million square feet of office, laboratory and educational space, the hub serves as a platform to drive economic growth and build a vital community. It is estimated that Bailey Power Plant – one of Innovation Quarter’s undergoing projects – will be completed at the end of 2017.
PTI Airport
More than 900 acres are being prepped for development after an investment of $120 million for airfield infrastructure. This includes the “Bridge to Commerce,” which will open access to additional acreage on the west side of the airport’s property. PTI Airport generates more than 18,500 jobs in the region, and it will continue the growth of aviation and aerospace in North Carolina.
Chatham-Siler City Advanced Manufacturing Site
As the largest site in North Carolina that’s certified, the Chatham-Siler City Advanced Manufacturing Site (CAM site) is comprised of more than 1,800 acres. The site assists in leading education, research and development in the Research Triangle where it continues to target an auto manufacturer.
Whitaker Park
A bold redevelopment plan for this 350-acre campus is predicted to stimulate job growth in the region, which could potentially create 15,000 more jobs. This space will not only be used for biotech, manufacturing and retail but also for entertainment and residential purposes.
