Precision Textiles, a global supplier of coated fabrics, nonwovens and laminates, will locate a manufacturing facility in Troy to better serve its customer base in the mattress industry. The Totowa, New Jersey-based company will employ 100 at the plant in Montgomery County and also operates a warehouse in Archdale.
“This new factory will enable us to better meet the needs of our customers throughout the nation and logistically helps us reduce transit time to those located across the Southeast,” said Precision Textiles CEO Scott Tesser, “It will also give us more capacity to better serve both existing and new customers. “The plant previously had a nice history in textiles manufacturing, so it provided us with a head start in terms of equipment and experienced employees.”
