Industrial adhesives maker Jowat is expanding the capacity of its manufacturing plant in Trinity with the $1.55 million purchase of a building shut down by competitor Henkel next door.
Jowat plans to use the additional facility for an expansion of its Archdale manufacturing plant, adding eight employees and and starting production with new equipment in the building
Jowat makes industrial adhesives used in furniture, food and other packaging, and the automotive industry. Examples of end uses include laminate surfaces on furniture made from particle board, food packages including yogurt foil tops, and in vehicles, door and instrument panels, seating, and carpeting.
